Hi Everyone!!!

The Following notice was sent out after our first invoice run for the Data393 accounts we acquired.  This is informational for those customers who did not receive the notice for some reason.

Data393 also sent out a joint notification on February 1, 2005.  You can link to their news post at:

We did receive around 150 bounced emails, so if you are unable to log into your Customer Control Center to verify your email address, please contact our billing department so we can ensure we have a valid email address for you.

On February 1, 2005, Data393 and Web HSP sent out a joint notification announcing that Web HSP has acquired all of the cPanel Shared and Bulk Reseller accounts from Data393, which you should have received. We are very excited to have you as our customer!

This communication is a follow-up to that announcement to welcome you and provide you with important information about your new Customer Control Center, Billing Policies, Server Maintenance and other information we think you would like to know including:[ol type=\'1\'][li]Customer Control Center - please verify we got it right. We have converted all of your billing and customer information into your Customer Control Center.

There have been no changes to the hosting servers or hosting accounts. Your cPanel and Reseller logins are the same as they have been.

Please login to your Customer Control Center at https://ccc.webhsp.com and verify your customer information, packages and invoices (if appropriate). As with any conversion, there is opportunity for errors and we want to ensure we have all of your billing information correct. You can change your customer information in the control panel or contact our Billing Department if there are any errors or missing information regarding your packages or invoices.

Normally our billing department is closed on weekends; however we will be available this weekend for calls, tickets and email inquiries. Contact information is included at the bottom of this notice.

[/li][li]Invoicing

Invoicing has been turned on and invoices from February 1st have been generated. Our system is automated and future invoices will be generated on the renew date.

[/li][li]Credit Card Processing

Credit card processing will run on Monday for those customers that have automatic credit card payments and have invoices due. In the future, credit cards will be processed the day after the invoice is generated.

Customers who do not have credit card auto pay can access their invoices and make manual credit card payments and payments through PayPal. Customers desiring to pay by eCheck can obtain this service through PayPal.

Your credit card statement transaction will show from "Web HSP Hosting Services".

[/li][li]Important Information About our Billing System

We have automated most of our billing process. This means that if your invoices are not paid within the grace period we have set, your accounts will automatically be suspended. It's very important to let us know if you get a late notice and if there are special circumstances regarding your payment, e.g. check is in the mail or other situation, so we can discuss alternatives and work with you to avoid any down time for your site(s). The system is set up to send two warnings before suspending so you should have adequate notice. You should also recieve notice of expired credit cards.

[/li][li]Maintenance Windows and Emergency Maintenance

We are in the process of setting up standard maintenance windows for all of our servers. These will include kernel updates and any other updates needed to ensure security on the servers. We will publish the maintenance schedule by server as soon as we have it finalized on our announcements section of our Customer Control Center. There is usually a short outage during this time to allow for rebooting the server, which is necessary for this type of activity.

In the event there is an urgent security update required or other server issues, we may have to do an unscheduled emergency system maintenance. In these instances, we will post notices in our announcements section. You can sign up to have these announcements emailed to you through your Customer Control Center under 'News'.

[/li][li]Technical Support

We provide 7x24x365 technical support to our customers. Our Support Desk is integrated into your Customer Control Center under 'Support'. In the event of an emergency, you can call to escalate your ticket. You will find the support line number on our website on our 'Contact Us' page.

[/li][li]Administrative and Billing Support

Our administrative offices are open during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Most phone messages, billing tickets and emails will be answered within the same day received, but no later than one business day.

[/li][li]Web HSP plans for this year

Over the next few months, we will be evaluating each of the servers for performance, capacity and general health. Out of this evaluation, we hope to be able to enhance your packages and upgrade outdated hardware. There is much to do and our first priority is to ensure the servers are providing quality performance.

Although this is really good news for most of you, we may have to ask some customers to move off the shared environment into a dedicated solution, such as a VPS in order to maintain high performance standards on our shared environment. Any changes of this kind will be negotiated and handled in a positive and constructive manner.

We hope that all of our customers know that our highest priority is quality of service and that we only do this so everyone can have an enjoyable hosting experience.
